Dale Arwood Whether she's touring with her band Nelly Wilson, working on her impressive song catalog or just pickin' with friends, songwriter Dale Arwood pours her heart and soul into the music. But the real passion lies in the songs that have percolated to the surface of her life -- songs of love, loss, hope, dreams, heartache and miracles. Arwood attended Middle Tennessee State University where she got a degree in journalism and the top scores in songwriting class. After college, she worked as a staff writer for The Tennessean for a few years but the songwriting bug had bitten and was not letting go. Musician friends wanted to lend a hand recording her songs. The band Nelly Wilson evolved as a fan base grew and people started asking for albums and concerts. Festivals, concert halls, parties and songwriter performances followed. Arwood has entertained with a host of talent including her own fine band and other musicians who've rallied in support of her music. She's worked as a graphic designer and business owner, writing and designing for magazines and working in the music industry with other artists. As a devoted mom and wife, family is a major source of inspiration. Music has certainly been a life-long love and now she's recording her own music with the love of her life, husband Delbert, who also plays guitar for the band. Two full CDs of original songs are available: Nelly Wilson “Fly On the Wall” and “Real Good Talkin' To.” Click here for Individual Bios |
